Bless the Backs: Warm Winter Coat Giveaway

As temperatures drop, too many children and families in Hampton Roads face the season without proper winter wear. Grow House’s Warm Winter Coat Giveaway powered by our prime partner One Warm Coat ensures that no one braves the cold without dignity, safety, and warmth.

Beginning each October, we stand back-to-back and invite the whole community to join us. We encourage churches, fraternities, sororities, and organizations to host coat drives in solidarity. Volunteers and partners help sort, prepare, and distribute coats with care and dignity.

This year we are super excited to announce our partners-for-impact: First Team dealerships (across Hampton Roads), Churchland Cleaners (Chesapeake, VA), and Oasis Social Ministry (Portsmouth, VA).

In November, families and youth will receive FREE coats at our giveaway events with love, dignity, and some warm hot coca. For us, a warm coat is more than protection against the cold. It communicates care, belonging, and hope. It declares: You are not forgotten. Your community stands with you.
